Employer terms
The agreement between Gantt Guild and a company that meets or hires our graduates. Graduates aren't parties to it, and nothing in it limits where they can work.Effective October 29, 2026
The short version
- Career Days are free to attend, and you're never obliged to hire.
- $5,000 per hire. A flat placement fee for each graduate you met through us who starts working for you. It isn't a percentage of salary, and it's paid once per person.
- Paid when they start. We invoice on the start date, and the invoice is due within 15 days. No start, no fee.
- A six-month window. The fee applies when a graduate accepts your offer within six months after you last met them through us.
- 90-day replacement credit if your hire leaves early, for any reason.
- Graduate Support is optional: from $8,000 per graduate for 6 to 12 months of continued training.
- Graduates come first. They aren't part of this agreement, it never limits where they can work, and you'll never pass any fee on to them.
This summary is here to help. The sections below are the terms.
Who this agreement is between
These Employer Terms (the “Terms”) are an agreement between Gantt Guild (“we”, “us”) and the company or organization that accepts them (“you”). You accept them by signing an order form that refers to them, or by confirming in writing (email is fine) that you accept them before you attend a Career Day or receive information about our graduates. Whoever accepts them for you confirms that they're authorized to do so.
Our students and graduates are not parties to these Terms. The Terms give them no obligations, and nothing in them can be enforced against them.
If an order form conflicts with these Terms, the order form wins for that order.
Definitions
- Candidate: a current student or graduate of a Gantt Guild program.
- Introduction: any of these, made by or through us: you meet a Candidate at a Career Day, including seeing their presentation or opening their portfolio; we send you a Candidate's profile or portfolio; or we put you in touch with a Candidate. An Introduction happens on the day it's made.
- Introduced Candidate: a Candidate who has had an Introduction to you.
- Hire: taking a Candidate on for paid work in any capacity (employee, contractor, consultant, part-time or intern), by you or an Affiliate, directly or through a staffing agency or other third party.
- Start Date: a Candidate's first day of paid work for you.
- Affiliate: any entity that controls you, is controlled by you, or is under common control with you.
- Order form: a document, signed by both of us, that refers to these Terms.
Career Days and introductions
Career Days are free to attend. We share a Candidate's profile or portfolio only with their permission. Candidates decide whether to take part, whom to talk to, and whether to interview or accept an offer, and we don't promise that any particular Candidate, or any number of Candidates, will be available or interested.
You'll use information about Candidates only to consider them for work with you. You'll keep it confidential within the people involved in your hiring, won't sell it or share it with anyone else (except service providers who help with your hiring and keep it confidential), will comply with privacy and anti-discrimination laws, and will delete information about Candidates you don't hire within six months, or sooner if we or the Candidate ask.
The placement fee
If an Introduced Candidate accepts an offer from you within six months after their most recent Introduction to you, and then starts work, you'll pay us a placement fee of US$5,000 for that Candidate.
- It's a flat fee. It doesn't depend on the role, salary, title, hours or location.
- It's due only if the Candidate actually starts. An accepted offer that never leads to a Start Date costs nothing.
- It's paid once per Candidate. Changing their role, converting them from contractor to employee, or rehiring them later doesn't create a second fee.
- It applies whether you Hire the Candidate directly or through an Affiliate, a staffing agency or another third party. If an Affiliate Hires them, you and the Affiliate are each responsible for making sure the fee is paid once.
When no fee is due
- No Introduction. You Hire a Candidate who reached you on their own, without an Introduction from us.
- Already in your process. The Candidate had applied to you, or was interviewing with you, before our Introduction. Tell us within 10 business days after the Introduction, with reasonable evidence such as the application date.
- Outside the window. The Candidate accepts your offer more than six months after their most recent Introduction to you.
- No start. The Candidate accepts your offer but doesn't start.
We may also reduce or waive a fee at our discretion. If a fee is ever the only thing standing between a Candidate and a job with you, tell us before you decide. We'd rather waive a fee than cost a graduate a job.
Telling us about a hire, and paying
Tell us within five business days after an Introduced Candidate accepts your offer: their name, role, Start Date and your billing contact. Write to employers@ganttguild.com.
We'll invoice the placement fee on or after the Start Date. Invoices are due within 15 days of the invoice date, in US dollars, by bank transfer or another method we accept. Fees don't include taxes; you'll pay any sales, use, goods and services or similar taxes that apply, other than taxes on our income.
If you dispute an invoice in good faith, tell us within 15 days and pay the part you don't dispute. Late amounts carry interest at 1% a month, or the highest rate the law allows if that's lower, and you'll pay our reasonable costs of collecting them. Invoices and purchase orders go to billing@ganttguild.com.
90-day replacement credit
If a Candidate you paid a placement fee for leaves you, for any reason, within 90 days after their Start Date, we'll credit that fee in full toward the next placement fee you owe us. To receive it, tell us within 10 business days after they leave, and make sure the original invoice was paid on time.
Credits can be used for 12 months, have no cash value, and can't be transferred. A departure never counts against the graduate.
Graduates first
Our fees are a matter between you and us. They must never limit a graduate's choices or come out of a graduate's pocket. So:
- No restrictions on graduates. Nothing in these Terms or any order form restricts any Candidate from applying for, accepting, declining or leaving any job, with you or anyone else, at any time, and Candidates never need our permission to do so.
- No exclusivity. You may recruit from anywhere and hire anyone. You're never required to hire through us, and you may hire Candidates who reach you on their own.
- No pass-through. You won't recover any part of a fee from a Candidate, directly or indirectly. That means no deductions from pay, no lower pay or benefits because of the fee, and no repayment, “stay-or-pay” or clawback terms tied to our fees.
- No pressure. We'll never ask a Candidate to turn down, delay or leave a job. We'll never ask you to withdraw an offer, delay a Start Date, change a Candidate's pay or end their employment because of a fee, a credit or a disagreement with you.
- Disagreements stay between us. If we disagree about a fee, we'll resolve it with you. We won't ask a Candidate to take part.
- Fair consideration. You'll consider Candidates on their merits, in line with equal employment opportunity laws.
Your hiring decisions
You decide whom to interview and hire, and on what terms. You're the employer or client of anyone you Hire. We aren't their employer, employer of record or staffing agency, and Candidates aren't our employees or agents. You're responsible for your offers, pay and benefits, checks of eligibility to work, any background checks (with the Candidate's consent, as the law requires), and complying with employment laws.
We train Candidates seriously and review their work against written standards, but we don't guarantee any Candidate's performance or suitability for a particular role. On request to admin@ganttguild.com, we'll confirm whether a Candidate completed the program.
Graduate Support (optional)
Graduate Support continues a graduate's training after they join you, for a term of 6 to 12 months set out in the order form. It includes weekly training alongside the job, monthly one-to-one coaching on your tools and methods, check-ins with their manager with a written progress note, and priority invitations to future Career Days.
- Price: from US$8,000 per graduate, depending on the term. The order form sets the price.
- Payment: invoiced at the start of the term and due within 15 days.
- If the graduate leaves during the term, the unused full months become a credit toward Graduate Support for another graduate or toward team training, usable for 12 months.
- Always optional. Graduate Support is never a condition of hiring, and the placement fee doesn't depend on it. We schedule it with the graduate and their manager, and graduates see their own progress notes.
Team training
Live training for your existing staff is quoted per engagement. The order form sets out the scope, dates, price and payment terms.
The order form
We keep the paperwork short. The order form lists your company's legal name and address; your hiring and billing contacts; the services you want (Career Days and placement are included, and Graduate Support and team training are optional); for Graduate Support, the graduate, term and price; and signatures. It refers to these Terms and doesn't change them unless it says so.
Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for this agreement. That doesn't cover information that's public, already known to the recipient, independently developed or lawfully received from someone else, or disclosures the law requires.
Materials and publicity
Our training materials, the book and our website remain ours. Candidates' portfolios belong to the Candidates, and you may review them to consider Candidates for work. We won't name you as an employer partner without your permission.
Liability
Except for your payment obligations and breaches of confidentiality, neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, and each party's total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
How long this lasts
These Terms apply from the day you accept them until either of us ends them with 30 days' written notice. A placement fee for an Introduction made before they end is still payable if the Candidate accepts your offer within the six-month window. Unused credits end when these Terms end. Sections that by their nature should continue (fees, graduates first, confidentiality, liability and law) continue after these Terms end.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies to you. Changes never apply retroactively and never change the fee for Introductions made before the change.
Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, though either of us may ask any court with jurisdiction for urgent interim relief. Before going to court, we'll both try in good faith to settle a dispute by talking for at least 30 days, starting with an email to legal@ganttguild.com.
General
Neither of us may transfer these Terms without the other's consent, except to a successor to the business. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver of it. These Terms and any order forms are the whole agreement between us about their subject. Notices go to the contacts in the order form, and to legal@ganttguild.com for us.
