Terms of service
The rules for using this site and taking part in the program, including the parts we care about most: it's free, and you can leave whenever you like.Effective October 29, 2026
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of ganttguild.com and to the Gantt Guild training program. “Gantt Guild”, “we” and “us” mean Gantt Guild. By using the website, submitting a form or taking part in the program, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or the program.
Eligibility
To apply, you must be at least 18, live in the United States and be legally authorized to work there. You confirm that the information you give us is true and complete. Admission is at our discretion, and we may decline or withdraw an application, including if information turns out to be inaccurate.
The program is free
The whole program is free for students. We don't charge tuition, fees or deposits, and we don't use income-share agreements, deferred tuition or any arrangement that requires you to pay us later, whether or not you get a job. You're not obliged to accept any job offer, to stay with any employer or to complete the program.
Employers and fees
Companies that hire a graduate they met through Gantt Guild pay us a placement fee under a separate agreement between them and us, our Employer Terms. You're not a party to that agreement, and you'll never pay any part of the fee.
It doesn't limit where you can apply or work. You never need our permission to accept, turn down or leave any job, with a company you met through us or anyone else, and employers agree not to pass any part of the fee on to you, whether through lower pay, deductions or repayment agreements.
Your own accounts and costs
You'll create and manage your own accounts for the tools used in the program, on their free plans, developer accounts or trials, under each provider's own terms. We don't provide, pay for or control these accounts, and you're responsible for complying with those terms and for any charges you choose to incur.
The program's labs need an AI coding agent. At the time of writing, that means a Claude Pro subscription (which includes Claude Code) from Anthropic or a ChatGPT Plus subscription (which includes Codex) from OpenAI, each about US$20 a month. You buy it directly from the provider; Gantt Guild receives no part of it. Providers set and may change their own prices and plans. You'll also need your own computer and internet connection.
Leaving the program
You may leave the program at any time, for any reason, by telling us at students@ganttguild.com. Leaving has no financial consequence. If you're hired before the end of the program, you're welcome to leave, or to keep attending if your employer agrees and we have room.
Conduct and academic honesty
We expect respectful, professional behavior in classes, chats and with employers. Harassment, discrimination, recording sessions or sharing other students' personal information without permission, and misrepresenting your work are not allowed. AI tools are part of the curriculum, but you must disclose how you used them in your work, as the program explains. Report concerns in confidence to conduct@ganttguild.com. We may remove anyone from the program or a Career Day who breaks these rules.
Session notes
We don't record live sessions. Instead, we share detailed notes after each session, only with the program's students and staff. Please don't record sessions yourself. Keeping your camera off is fine.
Your work and our materials
Your work. You own the work you create in the program. You give us permission to store, review and give feedback on it, and, if you choose to take part in a Career Day, to show it to participating employers. We'll ask before using your work in any public material.
Our materials. The content of this website, our course materials and the Gantt Guild name and logo belong to Gantt Guild, except where they're released under an open license. Projects, For Real is available under the license stated in the book. Its case studies, including the projects, people and companies on this site, are fictional and set against publicly documented practices. You may use our materials for your own learning, but not resell them or present them as your own.
Trademarks. GitLab is a trademark of GitLab Inc. Harvard and Harvard Business School are trademarks of the President and Fellows of Harvard College. PMI, PMBOK, PMP and CAPM are marks of the Project Management Institute. Claude and Claude Code belong to Anthropic, and ChatGPT and Codex to OpenAI. Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and the other products named on this site belong to their owners. Gantt Guild isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and isn't a PMI Authorized Training Partner. Notices about copyright or trademarks go to legal@ganttguild.com.
Employers
Employers who meet or hire our graduates do so under our Employer Terms, a separate agreement between Gantt Guild and the employer, which takes precedence over these terms for employers. Career Days are free to attend; placement fees, Graduate Support and team training are charged as described there. Invoices are handled through billing@ganttguild.com. Employers are solely responsible for their own hiring decisions and for complying with employment laws.
No guarantee of outcomes
We work hard to prepare students for project and product management roles, but we don't guarantee admission, completion, certification, interviews, job offers, salary or any other outcome. Information on this site about the program may change, including the schedule, curriculum, tools and Career Day dates.
Disclaimers
The website and program are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our materials explain concepts for learning purposes; they aren't legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gantt Guild won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, earnings or opportunities, arising from the website or the program. Because the program is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to INR 10,000 (about US$120). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Your responsibility
You agree to compensate Gantt Guild for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website or program, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts at Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, the website or the program, and you agree to submit to their jurisdiction. Before going to court, both sides agree to try to resolve the dispute informally, starting with an email to legal@ganttguild.com, for at least 30 days.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the effective date at the top and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to tell students. Continuing to use the site or program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganization or sale.
